Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube on Anderro
What connecting Instagram, Threads or TikTok to Anderro does, which permissions it asks for and why, how YouTube videos are read, what Anderro never does, and how to disconnect and delete your data.
What Anderro is
Anderro is an affiliate marketplace run by FastProducts LLC. Businesses run affiliate programs on Anderro, and affiliates (creators) promote those programs with their own tracked links and earn a commission on the sales they refer.
Some businesses also run Clip Campaigns: they pay creators for verified views of short videos about their product, at a rate per 1,000 views, in addition to the usual affiliate commission. To verify those views, and to let creators post about the programs they promote, Anderro can connect to the creator's own social accounts.
Connecting a social account is optional. You sign in on the platform itself and choose there which permissions to grant. Anderro never sees your password for that platform, and it reads only the accounts you connect.
What connecting an account does
- Verify the performance of your own posts. When you submit a clip to a Clip Campaign, Anderro checks that it was posted from an account you connected and reads its view, like, comment and share counts during the campaign's tracking window, to calculate and verify your clip earnings and to detect fraud such as purchased views.
- Publish posts you create. You can publish or schedule a post promoting a program you are part of. Anderro publishes only the posts you explicitly create or schedule, with the text and media you provide, at the time you choose. Publishing is available to approved accounts.
- Keep the connection working. Anderro refreshes access tokens before they expire.
You can connect an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) with Instagram Login. Anderro requests:
| Permission | Why Anderro asks for it |
|---|---|
instagram_business_basic | Your account id, username and profile picture, and the list of your own posts (link, caption, media type, thumbnail, posting time), so you can pick the post you submit to a campaign. |
instagram_business_manage_insights | The statistics of your own posts (views, likes, comments, shares, saves), to verify the performance of the clips you submit. |
instagram_business_content_publish | Only for accounts approved for publishing: to publish a post you created or scheduled in Anderro. |
Threads
You can connect a Threads account. Anderro requests:
| Permission | Why Anderro asks for it |
|---|---|
threads_basic | Your account id, username, name and profile picture, and the list of your own posts. |
threads_manage_insights | The statistics of your own posts (views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, shares), to verify the performance of the posts you submit. |
threads_content_publish | Only for accounts approved for publishing: to publish a post you created or scheduled in Anderro. |
TikTok
You can connect a TikTok account with Login Kit. Anderro requests:
| Permission | Why Anderro asks for it |
|---|---|
user.info.basic | Your account id, display name and avatar, to show which account is connected. |
user.info.profile | Your TikTok username, where granted, to match the clips you submit to your account. |
video.list | Your own public videos and their view, like, comment and share counts, to verify the performance of the clips you submit. |
video.publish | Only for accounts approved for publishing: to post a video you created in Anderro directly to your TikTok account. Before posting you choose who can view it (there is no default), whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed, and you see the creator account it will post to. Every post is disclosed as branded content and labeled Paid partnership. |
video.upload | Only for accounts approved for publishing, where direct posting isn't available: to send a video you created in Anderro to your TikTok inbox as a draft, where you review, label and post it yourself. |
TikTok may also return your follower, like and video counts with your profile; Anderro does not store them.
YouTube
YouTube needs no connection. When you submit a YouTube video, for example a Short to a Clip Campaign, Anderro uses the YouTube Data API (YouTube API Services) to read that video's public information: its id, title, thumbnail, publication time, and public view, like and comment counts. It uses them only to confirm the video, track its views during the campaign's tracking window, and calculate and verify your clip earnings.
By submitting YouTube content you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of personal information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you have granted Anderro access to your Google account (for example by signing in with Google), you can revoke it at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Disclosure on published posts
A post that promotes a program is a paid relationship, and it must say so. Every post you publish through Anderro to promote a program must carry a clear disclosure such as #ad, and the program link you share is your own tracked affiliate link for that program, so the business can see which sales you referred. Anderro adds both automatically: every post you publish through Anderro ends with #ad and your tracked link for the program, and you can't remove them. Posts sent to TikTok directly are also marked as branded content, so TikTok shows its Paid partnership label; for drafts sent to your TikTok inbox, turn on that label in TikTok before posting. Clips submitted to a Clip Campaign must carry #ad or the platform's paid partnership label too (Terms of Service, Section 7.2).
Who can see your data
- You, in Anderro.
- The business running a Clip Campaign, only for the posts you submit to that campaign: your name, the account's username (or your affiliate handle), the post link, title and thumbnail, its view counts and your clip earnings for it. Businesses never receive your tokens or your other posts.
- Authorized FastProducts LLC staff, for support and fraud review.
Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, decrypted only to call the platform for you, and never shown in Anderro or to other users.
What Anderro never does
- It never likes, follows, comments or sends messages on your behalf.
- It never publishes anything you did not create or schedule yourself.
- It never sells data from your connected accounts.
- It never uses that data for advertising, ad targeting or advertising profiles.
- It never uses that data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
How to disconnect
In Anderro: open Clips › Channels (anderro.com/affiliate/clips?tab=channels) and choose Disconnect next to the account. The access and refresh tokens are deleted immediately; for TikTok, Anderro also asks TikTok to revoke its access.
On the platform:
- Instagram: in the Instagram app, open your profile, then Menu › Settings and activity › Website permissions › Apps and websites, select Anderro, and choose Remove.
- Threads: in the Threads app, open your profile, then Menu › Settings › Account › Website permissions, select Anderro, and choose Remove.
- TikTok: in the TikTok app, open your profile, then Menu › Settings and privacy › Security and permissions › Apps and services permissions, select Anderro, and choose Remove access.
Menu names can differ slightly between app versions. When you remove Anderro on Instagram or Threads, Meta notifies us and we delete the tokens immediately. TikTok does not notify us: the tokens stop working at TikTok at once, and the copies we hold are deleted when you disconnect the account in Anderro or delete your Anderro account.
How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Access and refresh tokens | Deleted immediately when you disconnect the account in Anderro, when Meta tells us you removed Anderro on Instagram or Threads, or when your Anderro account is deleted. |
| Connected-account profile, posts, captions, thumbnails and statistics | While the account is connected and for 90 days after it is disconnected, then deleted. Deleted with your Anderro account if you delete it. |
| Images and videos you upload to publish a post | Stored on anderro.com so the platform can fetch them, and deleted 30 days after the last post that uses them (or 30 days after upload if unused). Deleted with your Anderro account if you delete it. |
| Detailed view history of a clip submitted to a Clip Campaign | Until 30 days after the clip's earnings are settled (or another period set for that campaign); the final verified count is kept. |
| Clip submissions, final verified counts, earnings, commissions and payouts | As long as needed for payout, tax, accounting and dispute records, generally up to 7 years after the related payout. |
Delete your data
Disconnecting an account deletes its tokens at once. To delete your whole Anderro account, sign in and open Settings › Account (affiliates) or Settings › Danger zone (businesses) and choose Delete my account, or email [email protected] from the address on your account. Your account is closed and your social tokens are deleted immediately; your account and personal data are deleted within 30 days. If Meta sends us a data deletion request for your Instagram or Threads account, we process it automatically and you can check its status on the data deletion page.
