Choose commission rules

Set product rates, renewal commissions, plan overrides, and rewards for recruiting partners.

A commission records what an affiliate earns from a qualifying customer payment. You choose the rules for each product. Anderro applies those rules when a trusted payment is attributed to an eligible partnership. A click or signup alone does not earn a commission.

Type

Choose percentage when the reward should scale with the customer's payment. Choose fixed when you want a set amount for each qualifying payment. Your product defaults to a percentage commission with a value of 20. Review the rate against your margin before inviting affiliates.

The payment amount is what your customer paid; the commission amount is what your partner earned. Keep those amounts separate when reading conversions. A larger payment does not produce a larger fixed commission. Changing settings controls future commission calculations, rather than rewriting commissions already recorded.

Recurring

Recurring commissions reward qualifying repeat payments from an attributed customer. With recurring turned off, the rules limit the reward to the first qualifying payment. Recurring is enabled by default for a new product.

Choose the setting that matches the offer you want partners to promote. Explain it in your terms so an affiliate can understand whether a renewal may earn another commission. Each new commission still follows the hold and refund rules; a recurring setting does not make earnings immediately payable.

Tier2

When you enable second-tier commissions, a partner who recruits another partner can earn a separate sponsor commission on that recruit's qualifying sales. This reward is an additional cost to you. It is not taken out of the referring partner's commission.

Second-tier rewards are disabled by default. Review the sponsor rate before enabling them, and make sure your terms explain the recruitment offer. A recruitment link brings partners into the program; a customer referral link brings customers to your product. They have different purposes.

Plans

You can add product plans with their own commission settings and external billing identifiers. When a payment includes a matching identifier, Anderro uses the plan's configured overrides. Without a matching plan or a relevant override, the product defaults apply.

Copy identifiers carefully from your billing system and test a payment for each plan you configure. A plan name alone does not establish the connection to a provider's price identifier. Product commission plans are separate from your subscription plan for using Anderro.

Read a commission status

The commission statuses are pending, approved, paid, rejected, and refunded. Pending commissions wait through the hold. Approved commissions are eligible for payout. Paid means the commission was included in a payout marked paid. Rejected commissions are not payable; refunded commissions reflect reversed customer payments. See payouts and clawbacks for what happens after a refund.
